Karen E. Neuburger

Principal


Karen Neuburger is a co-founder of KPHR Advisors. She has over twenty years of human resources experience. Karen has provided a broad range of human resources consulting services to small businesses and startups across the technology, consumer products, advertising, financial services, healthcare and non-profit sectors. Karen has partnered with organizational leadership to provide strategic advice and implementation of human resources solutions. Karen has been responsible for providing training and coaching to managers and employees, as well as developing and implementing HR policies.

Prior to her consulting roles, Karen was Human Resources Director at Starwood Capital Group, a worldwide real estate private equity firm, where she was responsible for all human resources functions. She has also previously held human resources positions at Lehman Brothers, American Express and General Instrument, focusing on compensation and human resources Generalist functions.

Karen holds an MBA in Management from NYU Stern and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Cornell University.

Pamela Riba Schiffman

Principal


Pamela Riba Schiffman is a co-founder of KPHR Advisors and has over twenty years of human resources experience. Over the past 10+ years, Pamela has been an HR Consultant to small businesses in a variety of industries, as well as a Career Coach for professionals ranging from seasoned executives to those seeking to enter the workforce.

Prior to her recent consulting experience, Pamela worked in the Financial Services industry, having held human resources positions at Citigroup, Lehman Brothers and Transamerica. Pamela has also held various consulting roles for Citigroup and Starwood Capital. In addition to senior positions as an HR Generalist and in Employee Relations, Pamela has managed staffing functions, formulated and directed management development programs, designed and implemented training programs for recruiting, diversity, compensation and orientation, and redesigned and implemented succession planning and performance management initiatives.

Pamela holds a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
